Graphic Novels 101--With Mark Siegel

The D.C. Public Library is offering three free workshops with Mark Siegel, Editorial Director of First Second and author of numerous books and graphic novels. The workshops will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, located across the street from the Gallery Place metro stop and one block from Metro Center. Workshop 1 (10:00-11:00 am) is A Short History of Comics. Workshop 2 (11:00 am to 12:30 pm) is Making and Reading Graphic Novels: A New Visual Literacy.
